Pangea Manor
♔ Home ♔ Rules ♔ Info ♔ Character Reserve List ♔
This is an AU that takes place present day - future-ish.
The genre is something of a conglomeration of Spies, Paranormal, and Lab Experiments that all center around an organization that is runs out of the manor.
The nations, with agreements from their countries, are invited to work for it, where they must work together and get along.
Of course, that's unlikely to happen, but the world can dream, eh?
It comes unexpected by all,
Long after normal mail is ever delivered to your office.
A small, antique white envelope, with a dark wax seal that has an unrecognizable symbol on it. There is no return address. You find it slipped on to your desk, appearing as if by magic.
After picking it up and opening it, you find a letter addressed to you, type written, it invites you to join a special organization that is looking to bring all the personified nations together, to put their talents to good use and helping each other across the globe with various imbalances, criminal activities, and strange paranormal occurrences that have begun to surface.
It requests that you answer weather or not you agree to the terms of your services, and upon acceptance to Pangea Manor, the location would be revealed to you.
You might take a day or more to consider the offer, but even your government seems to already know of the invitation, and agrees that accepting would be a good idea, they perhaps even encourage it. And, just like that, there is another letter out of no where.
It might take you a few days to arrive, but once you do, you find life is going to be anything but boring for the duration of your employment.
The Manor is somewhat overwhelming at first, full of rooms for you and the other nations to reside and live in, along with a mission base, hidden strategically from sight. Then, there are the expansive grounds outside the manor itself, full of it's own interesting secrets.
You are given a few days to settle in before being evaluated and given an official place in the organization, but a list of rules is posted in the common room for all to see. Rules that both make sense, and seem... Odd. It's almost questionable about how long anyone can go without breaking one or more, and some might even consider it a race to see who can do so first.
Not only that, you discover what ever weapons you would usually carry around for peace of mind or otherwise are to be confiscated and kept in the armoury until you go out on missions unless approved otherwise. That in itself is rather unnerving for many who were clearly used to keeping them on their person at all times.
Finally, the last oddity of your new life, is there that while you seem to be free to roam wherever you like in most of the mansion, you are forbidden to enter or snoop around the manor's so called wine cellar. Of which, some might muse, has never had any wine removed from it that has been seen...
All in all, life at the manor is strange, and even disconcerting at the best of times. But you are there now, and one would hate to either let their country down and look bad, or let another nation get the best of them...
